How We Work

From first call to live site in as little as 14 days

Starter sites go live in 14 days. Larger builds take 3–6 weeks. No drawn-out timelines, no committee decisions, no surprises. Here is exactly what happens when you work with Saffron Studio, from discovery to launch.

Most agencies take 6–12 weeks to deliver a website. We do it in 14 days. Not because we cut corners, but because we have a clear process, we do proper research upfront, and we don't wait around for endless sign-off meetings.

Before we write a single line of code, we research your market, your competitors, and your customers. That research shapes every decision — the site structure, the content, the features, and the technical implementation. You get a website built on real data, not guesswork.

The Timeline

Six phases, fourteen days

Day 0

Discovery Call

We start with a 30-minute conversation about your business, your customers, and what you need the website to do. No jargon, no pressure. We listen, take notes, and ask the questions most designers skip.

  • Understanding your ideal customer
  • Competitor and market research
  • Content and feature requirements
  • Clear proposal with a single price
Days 1–3

Foundation

Once you approve the proposal and we receive your assets, we hit the ground running. Site structure, navigation, brand integration, and the core pages are all built in the first three days.

  • Site architecture based on research
  • Homepage, services, about, and contact pages
  • Brand colours, typography, and visual system
  • Image sourcing and optimisation
Days 4–7

Content & Features

We build out every page, write or refine your content, and integrate any features — booking systems, galleries, blog, FAQs. Everything is informed by the research from your discovery call.

  • Full page content written in your voice
  • Feature integrations (booking, forms, galleries)
  • FAQ and location-specific pages
  • SEO and structured data setup
Days 7–8

Your First Look

You get a preview link to review the full site on your phone and computer. We ask you to focus on accuracy, tone, and anything missing — not pixel-level tweaks yet. That comes next.

  • Full staging preview on a live URL
  • Review on mobile and desktop
  • Feedback on content accuracy and tone
  • Two rounds of revisions included
Days 9–13

Revisions & QA

Your feedback is implemented, final tweaks are made, and we run the site through a comprehensive quality checklist. Performance, accessibility, cross-browser testing, SEO — nothing ships without passing every check.

  • Lighthouse scores: 95+ across the board
  • Mobile, tablet, and desktop tested
  • All forms and features verified end-to-end
  • Schema markup validated for AI visibility
Day 14

Launch

With your sign-off, we point your domain, go live, and submit your site to Google. You get a launch summary with everything we built and why. Then we check in after a week to make sure everything is running perfectly.

  • DNS configured and SSL active
  • Google Search Console and analytics live
  • Google Business Profile linked
  • One-week post-launch check-in

Common questions

What do you need from me before we start?

Your logo (ideally SVG or high-res PNG), any photos you want on the site, written content if you're supplying it, and access to your domain registrar if you have an existing domain. If you don't have all of this ready, we'll work with what you've got and fill the gaps.

What if I can't provide everything in time?

The 14-day clock starts when we have your assets and first payment. If you need a few extra days to pull things together, that's fine — we'll hold your slot and adjust the timeline accordingly.

How many revisions do I get?

Two rounds are included in every project. A revision means changes to existing content, layout, or styling. Adding entirely new pages or features outside the original scope would be quoted separately.

What happens after launch?

We check in after one week to make sure everything is running smoothly. If you're on a hosting plan, we handle ongoing updates, security, and performance monitoring. If you host elsewhere, we'll deliver your site files and help with deployment.

Do you write the website content?

We can. If content writing is included in your project, we interview you for about an hour, capture your natural voice, and write everything based on that conversation plus our market research. Most clients are surprised how easy the process is.
