Questions about leaving Wix
Can I move my Wix site?
Yes, as a rebuild. They will not export the code. I copy the useful words and images, write a better site, and put redirects on.
Why is it so slow?
A lot of JavaScript, tracking, and framework weight on every page. A simple five-page site can still be huge. I send a fraction of that.
How much to replace it?
From £2,500. Move, design, code, help with the domain, a year of hosting. Fixed quote after I look.
Will it rank better?
Speed is a ranking input. Going from a 25 to a 95 is one of the bigger technical lifts you can make. Most sites I move pick up. I do not promise a ranking.
I built it myself. Why pay someone?
Starting yourself was sensible. The platform has a ceiling. I can do speed and ownership that Wix will not. Send the URL and I will say if it is worth it.
