Questions about leaving WordPress
Will I lose rankings?
Not if the redirects are done. Most sites I move pick up because they are faster and cleaner. I do not promise a ranking.
How long does it take?
Under 10 pages: often 2 to 3 weeks. A big blog: 4 to 6. I put a date on it first.
What happens to posts and images?
They come over. Same archive. Redirects if the URL shape changes.
Is a custom site harder to update?
If you post a lot, I can add a small CMS that is simpler than wp-admin. If you do not, I change it under a care plan.
How much does a WordPress move cost?
From £2,500, same as a new build. Size and extras change the quote. I fix the price after I look at the site.
What about the plugins?
Forms, SEO, analytics, galleries, booking: I build them in or use something lighter. I go through the list in the brief.
